Suzanne is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in medical settings.

Since graduating in 2006, she has worked across a variety of programs within the Eastern Health and Monash Health networks in Melbourne.

Over the last 10 years, she has held senior positions at Monash Health, leading teams of psychologists providing services within Complex Care (chronic disease streams and frequent hospital presenters), Pain Services, Refugee Health, Aboriginal Health, Community Rehabilitation, Child and Family Programs, the Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service, and the South Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault. She also served as Acting Deputy Director of Psychology at Monash Health before relocating from Melbourne to Gordon, near Ballarat.

Suzanne’s clinical work has largely focused on assisting patients experiencing common mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders. Her other areas of special interest include behavioural change to improve medication adherence, managing persistent pain, supporting weight loss, parenting challenges, and life transitions. She is also trained in providing psychological support after disasters and has worked in a specialised team supporting medical and nursing staff under stress or after critical incidents, such as violence towards staff. In addition, she is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.

A member of the APS, Suzanne currently provides psychology supervision to the Monash Health Staff BeWell team and to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Suzanne and her husband enjoy living in Gordon and have planted a small grove of French Holly Oaks, hoping to one day harvest black truffles. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.
